In October 2019, Eleven Seven Label Group rebranded all the labels under the umbrella (Eleven Seven, Five Seven and Better Noise) to the new name of Better Noise Music, and all releases since have been released under the label Better Noise Music. The company entered into a global partnership with Marshall Records in 2018 in order to bring Marshall artists to North and South America via Eleven Seven's distribution system. Įleven Seven expanded its base from New York City and Los Angeles, with the opening of international offices in London, England in 2012, and Berlin, Germany in 2019. Better Noise Records, another home for hard rock acts, was founded in 2015 as part of Eleven Seven. The latter had three Top five Billboard alternative chart albums. In 2009, Eleven Seven Label Group created an alternative/indie sub-label called Five Seven Music for alternative rock bands such as Just Loud, Bleeker, Romes and Dirty Heads. Įleven Seven Label Group was named Billboard magazine's Rock Label of the Year in 2010. The Eleven Seven Music label is the home of recording artists Papa Roach, and others. It is seen as a successor to Kovac's earlier label, Beyond Music, which existed between 19. Another that I’d consider is a used HD700 since you have a tube amp which I consider a must for the HD700 and since many hate them they can be found quite cheap these days but they have great sound stage/imaging, decent mids and clean/clear highs on a tube amp.New York City, New York and Los Angeles, CaliforniaĮleven Seven Label Group was the American parent company of a group of rock and alternative rock record labels founded in 2006 by Allen Kovac, CEO of 10th Street Entertainment. I’ve also owned the Ananda, Sundara and HD600 but have sold them off since they were getting no use. It should cost under your $500 budget unless you are looking for very exotic wood. IMO for jazz and pop from the 70’s these are hard to beat along with being light and comfortable since you can use “G” pads which are much more comfortable and either the “S” or “L” and unlike most other headphones they are cheap and easy to replace. I’d suggest a custom built Ypsilon G1 driver using a “G” style cup from Elleven Acoustica or contact someone that does custom builds that can build cups using whatever wood you like. ago Only have tried the symphones blew me away though rudbear 1 yr. The mids on the symphones are very recessed, playing a fair bit quieter than the R1. I own an AKG K7XX, HE400i (first gen) and Grado SR60, SR225e, RS2e plus a few using drivers from Elleven Acoustica, Nhoord, Symphones and Turbulent. Honestly, Elleven Acoustica R1 Not that the V9 isn’t delightful, but for the same amount oif money as a symphones driver the R1 is a steal.
